Issuance of Summons is State Sponsored Terrorism: APHC

Srinagar, September 26 (Kashmir Voice): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference has condemned the summoning of Dr Naseem Gilani, Aala Fazili, traders’ leader, Muhammad Yasin Khan and Tehreek-e-Hurriyat leader, Shah Wali Muhammad, by India’s National Investigation Agency to New Delhi in the name of questioning.
According to media sources, an APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said, “The frequent issuance of summons to political leaders and Dr Naseem Gilani is unjustified and reflection of state sponsored terrorism. We also denounce the summons issued to the University scholar Aala Fazili.”
“In a similar case in 2005, Muhammad Rafiq Shah was arrested from Kashmir University and later released after serving 12 long years in jail. Prevailing political situation of Jammu and Kashmir is extremely disturbing and horrendous. Kashmir is the only region in the world where human rights violations are at its peak and there seems no let-up in killings and other coercive measures,” the spokesman added. “New Delhi is desperate to break our resolve. The atrocities inflicted on people won’t deter us from our mission nor is it possible for authorities to break our resolve,” he reiterated. Meanwhile, the APHC Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani, in a statement expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Murshid of Ikhwan-ul-Muslimoon Dr Mehdi Aakif, praying for his heavenly abode and forbearance to bereaved family. Dukhtaran-e-Millat also expressed condolence over his death. KASHMIR VOICE
