Sopore Shuts on Third Successive Day over Najar’s Killing

Srinagar, September 29 (Kashmir Voice): In occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed on third consecutive day, today, in Sopore area of Baramulla district to mourn the killing of a youth, Abdul Qayoom Najar, by Indian troops.
According to media sources, Abdul Qayoom Najar was martyred by the troops during a siege and search operation in Uri area of the district on Tuesday. All business establishments and shops are closed in the town, today, while traffic is of the road. The occupation authorities have imposed restrictions in some parts of town, including main chowk, tehsil road, Batpora Chowk and Chankhan area to prevent people from staging demonstrations against the killing of Najar.
