Concern Expressed About Detainees’ Plight in IOK

Srinagar, October 05 (Kashmir Voice): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Freedom League (JKPFL) has expressed concern over the plight of political leaders and demanded their immediate release. According to media sources, the JKPFL spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said that the authorities had been depriving the detainees of basic rights and even medical treatment were not provided to them. He said that the detention of the detainees was being prolonged on one pretext or the other. He said that the party General Secretary, Mohammad Ramzan Khan had been slapped with draconian law, Public Safety Act (PSA) along with other eminent leaders which was nothing but frustration of the authorities.
