Search Operation Triggers Clashes in Hajin

Srinagar, November 27 (Kashmir Voice): In occupied Kashmir, several protesters including a woman were injured in clashes between protesters and Indian forces in Hajin area of Bandipora district, today. According to media sources, clashes erupted against a cordon and search operation (CASO) launched by Indian troops in Hajin, today. Police told media that personnel of Rashtriya Rifles (RR), Special Operation Group (SOG) of Police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) jointly launched the operation. A woman was hit by pellets in both her legs. “She was shifted to Community Health Centre Hajin for treatment,” police added. All entry and exit points were sealed and house-to-house search operation was started. The locals hit the streets and fought pitch battles with the forces engaged in the search operations.
