Indian Troops Open Fire on Protesters in Shopian

Srinagar, June 27 (Kashmir Voice): In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops resorted to firing on protesters during a cordon and search operation (CASO) at Pinjora in Shopian district, today.
According to media sources, the troops launched the cordon and search operation and started door-to-door searches. Scores of youth hit the streets against the operation and pelted stones on the forces’ personnel. Meanwhile, a 65-year-old woman was injured in a landmine explosion in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir. Makhan Bi, a resident of Noorkot village of Degwar, was trying to bring back her animals, when the explosion occurred. The landmine was laid by the Indian army.
