Teh Leaders Join Protest in Srinagar to Demand Martyr’s Body

Srinagar, July 02 (Kashmir Voice): In occupied Kashmir, a delegation of Tehreek -e- Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir participated in a protest march in Srinagar to demand the mortal remains of a local youth, martyred by the Indian troops, recently. According to media sources, a large number of people including women and children participated in the protest, held at Eidgah, Barzulla, in Srinagar. Father of the martyred youth, Mudasir Ahmad, also attended the protest march. Mudasir according to the family was killed during a cordon and search operation in Kupwara area of north Kashmir. Amid pro-freedom slogans, TeH leaders addressed the protesters and expressed solidarity with the family. The leaders demanded the return of the body of Mudasir to his family,” said a statement issued by the office of Tehreek-e-Jammu and Kashmir. Those TeH leaders who participated in the march included Mohammad Ashraf Laya, Umar Aadil Dar and Ishfaq Ahmad Khan. KASHMIR VOICE
