Classmates Stage Protest against Faizan’s Killing

Srinagar, July 04 (Kashmir Voice): In occupied Kashmir, students of Muslim Educational Institute (MEI) Pampore hit the streets against the killing of classmate Faizan Ahmad Paswal. According to media sources, Faizan, a class 10 student at MEI Pampore, was shot dead by the Indian troops during protests at Chatapora in Pulwama town on Friday. Scores of students came out on roads raising anti-India and pro-freedom slogans and marched towards the Srinagar-Jammu Highway at Drangbal in Pampore. The students were holding banners and pictures of Faizan. Later, the students dispersed peacefully. The school remained shut in memory of Faizan. “The Management and Administration of the Institute through Facebook pages extended heartfelt condolences to the family of Faizan Ahmad Paswal.
