Killing of Three Youth in IOK Condemned

Srinagar, July 08 (Kashmir Voice): In occupied Kashmir, Hurriyat leaders and organisations have strongly condemned the killing of three youth including a teenage girl in Redwani area of south Kashmir by Indian forces.
According to media sources, the Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) Chairman, Zafar Akber Butt, condemning the killing of three civilians, demanded impartial investigation into the killings.
The High Court Bar Association of the territory in a statement in Srinagar strongly condemned the civilian killing including a teenage girl and injuring of more than a dozen others at Redwani in Kulgam and termed it as a pre-planned massacre of the people of Kashmir. It appealed to the international community to come to the rescue of the people of Kashmir who are being butchered every day. It also requested the United Nations Human Rights Council, Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and other organisations of the world to send their teams to Kashmir to see as to how the people are killed, blinded and maimed. Condemning killing of civilians including a 16-year-girl Rasheed said that the “killings have exposed the intentions of security forces and that of Governor Administration”. In a statement issued, Rasheed appealed New Delhi to introspect and revisit its “aggressive policies and realize that all the policies of controlling Kashmiris with barrel of gun have miserably failed during past thirty years”.
