JKCSCC Terms BJP, RSS Attempts for Polls Futile Exercise

Srinagar, September 13 (Kashmir Voice): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Civil Society Coordination Committee (JKCSCC) has condemned the attempts of BJP and RSS to lure people for participation in sham elections in the name of perks and previleges.
According to media sources, the JKCSCC members, Muzaffar Shah, Advocate Mir Javed, the Chairman of Sikh Federation, Sardar Jagmohan Singh Raina and Advocate Yasmeen Wani addressing a news conference in Srinagar termed the attempts of RSS and BJP a futile exercise. They said despite attempts to lure voters for participation in elections the authorities couldn’t hold bye-election for south Kashmir Lok Sabha constituency. They said the authorities have no moral right to conduct local bodies’ elections and put in oblivion the proceedings on petitions filed in the Indian Supreme Court against 35-A and 370. “Unless and until the Supreme Court does not announce a final decision on petitions, the attempts of BJP to divide people of Kashmir on the basis of religion and region won’t be allowed, they added. They also expressed gratitude to all political and non political groups and forums to show unity for protection of Atricle 35-A and Article 370. KASHMIR VOICE
