Release of all Kashmiri Political Detainees Demanded

Srinagar, January 20 (Kashmir Voice): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir National Front (JKNF) has urged the Indian authorities to release all illegally detained Kashmiri Hurriyat leaders and activists lodged in different prisons of the territory and India.
According to media sources, a JKNF spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar said all the accusations against the resistance leaders are politically motivated and they have been detained for their political beliefs. He expressed concern over the deteriorating health of illegally detained Hurriyat leader, Peer Saifullah. “Reports suggest that Peer Saifullah, who was operated for his head tumor before his arrest, is seriously ill in New Delhi’s Tihar Jail and must be immediately shifted to a hospital,” he added.
