Islamabad Shuts against Toll Tax on Srinagar-Jammu Highway

Srinagar, May 14 (Kashmir Voice): In occupied Kashmir, shutdown is being observed in south Kashmir’s Islamabad district following a call from transporters over the levying of tax by India on Srinagar-Jammu highway.
According to media sources, most of the shops and business establishments in Islamabad are closed while the public transport is off the roads. Transporters are seeking exemption from toll tax for Kashmir’s vehicles at Kai- Chachkoot toll plaza near Awantipora. KASHMIR VOICE
