Srinagar, November 14 (Kashmir Voice): In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Freedom Party has reiterated that peace and stability in South Asia will remain a distant dream unless the Kashmir dispute is resolved in accordance with the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. According to media sources, a DFP spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar, today, said aggression and repression can never resolve issues but only aggravate them. The statement maintained that killing was no solution as was evident from huge participation of people in martyrs’ funerals. Paying tributes to the youth martyred in Handwara, Kulgam and other areas of Kashmir, the statement said, “Our brave hearts are scripting a tremendous chapter of our resistance movement through their blood.” The statement said the people of Jammu and Kashmir are waiting for a final resolution of the Kashmir dispute which alone will end their suffering. Meanwhile, the party expressed deep sorrow over the sad demise of Haji Ali Mohammad Basu, Islamabad town. Deceased was a close relative of DFP Chief, Shabbir Ahmad Shah. A delegation led by Abdullah Tari visited Islamabad to condole with the family. On the other hand, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement, Zafar Akbar Butt during his mass contact programme in Pulwama said that autonomy or self-rule was no solution and instead a folly to sabotage and change the discourse of the Kashmir dispute. “Any solution that aims to change the discourse is unacceptable as people of Kashmir won’t accept any solution other than right to self-determination,” he stressed. A delegation of Jammu and Kashmir Peoples League led by its Chairman, Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, visited a victim family in Dooru. Democratic Political Movement General Secretary, Khawaja Firdous in a statement asked for settlement of the Kashmir dispute through tripartite talks among Pakistan, India and true representatives of the Kashmiri people. Srinagar, November 14 (Kashmir Voice): In occupied Kashmir, the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front, Muhammad Yasin Malik has said that pro-India politicians are responsible for all the miseries faced by Kashmiri people. According to media sources, Muhammad Yasin Malik while addressing a gathering at shrine of Makhdoom Sahib in Srinagar, today, said that these politicians and their parties were used for politics of deception by their Indian masters. He said that killings, crackdowns, arrests, vandalizing of properties, beating and torturing of common people and other oppressive tactics had become order of the day, especially in South and North Kashmir. Yasin Malik visited the Dargah of great religious and spiritual leader of Kashmir, Sheikh Hamza Makhdoom to pay homage and express his gratitude towards the great saint who taught Kashmiris the way of living with dignity and pride. In his speech, the JKLF chairman said Hazrat Sheikh Hamza Makhdoom (RAH), led us on the religious and spiritual fronts. It was this great thinker and spiritual leader who besides providing us the much needed religious and spiritual teachings also taught us the way of living with dignity and honor and resisting falsehood and tyranny. Taking a dig on all pro-India political parties and politicians of Jammu and Kashmir, he said as a matter of fact it is these pro-India politicians and their political parties which are responsible for all miseries Kashmiris are facing from last 70 years. He said that pro-India politicians and their parties were used for politics of deception by their Indian masters and after every six years we see a change in their theatrical role; one assuming power and another taking the charge of opposition. The JKLF chairman said that in opposition, they chant freedom and human rights but as soon they get power, they become agents of illegal occupation and oppression and in both their avatars fulfill their selfish goals and interests. Terming the ongoing oppression in whole Kashmir especially south Kashmir and north Kashmir especially Bandipora district, JKLF chairman said that politicians wearing green robes and raising deceitful slogans betrayed common people in the name of Azadi and human rights but as soon they got power, they changed their colors and turned as tools of oppression and agents of illegal occupation and today we are seeing them inflicting every kind of tyranny and oppression on us. He said that the people of Jammu Kashmir are fighting a war of their future. “Our struggle for freedom is based on truth and justice and we have been shown and taught this way of continues struggle by spiritual leaders like Makhdoom Sahib. He said that as a true Muslim we all will have to stand by the side of truth, resist every kind of oppression and fight the illegal occupation of India till the achievement of the sacred goal,” he added. Srinagar, November 13 (Kashmir Voice): In occupied Kashmir, clashes erupted between protesters and Indian troops during cordon and siege operations in Pulwama, Islamabad, Kupwara and Bandipora districts.
According to media sources, the troops cordoned off Rangmullah area of Pulwama and launched search operations. Youth took to streets and pelted stones on the troops, who lobbed teargas shells on the protesters. The forces also launched a cordon-and-search operation in Lalpora area of Kupwara district, today. An official said that a joint operation was launched by 28 Rashtriya Rifles of Indian army and police in Rangwar area of the district. All entry and exit points were sealed. Earlier, forces also launched an operation in Mir Mohalla area of Hajin in Bandipora district. House-to-house searches were going on when last reports came in. Locals came out of their houses and raised slogans against the Indian forces. Meanwhile, the personnel of Indian army, police and Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) also launched a joint operation in Kokernag area of Islamabad district. Srinagar, November 13 (Kashmir Voice): In occupied Kashmir, a one-day seminar on “Role of Youth in Kashmir Issue” was organized by a civil society in Srinagar.
According to media sources, the seminar was held at Nigeen in Hazratbal area of the city. It was attended by a large number of youth including members of pellet victims from every district of occupied Kashmir.
Those who spoke on the occasion included former High Court Bar Association General Secretary, Muhammad Ashraf Butt, Hurriyat leaders Shabbir Ahmad Dar, Hakeem Abdul Rasheed and civil society members Bilal Ahmad Butt. Speakers appealed to the general masses to extend all help to the pellet victims. KASHMIR VOICE
Srinagar, November 13 (Kashmir Voice): In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani has criticised former puppet chief minister, Farooq Abdullah for his recent statement, saying that these power-hungry politicians have always played deceit and served the interests of their masters in New Delhi.
According to media sources, Farooq Abdullah in his statement had said that Azad Jammu and Kashmir belonged to Pakistan, while he ruled out freedom for occupied Kashmir. Syed Ali Gilani in a statement issued in Srinagar said power-hungry politicians have always played deceit with people. He asked Farooq Abdullah to revisit annals of history and stated that former puppet Chief Minister was speaking against the wishes and aspirations of the Kashmiri people. He said people are offering sacrifices to achieve their right to self-determination and not for their stale theories or so-called autonomy, adding that all these politicians are just slaves of their masters and parroting what they have been assigned and asked to do. “We are not pursuing power politics and instead people are nourishing their sacred mission with blood and following genuine struggle for right to self-determination”, Gilani added. Asking people to remain cautious about the conspiracies being hatched by these Delhi-groomed henchmen, he said “Since our genuine voices are being acknowledged and our right to self-determination is being credited by international community, hence they feel desperate, irritated and nervous.” Haling people for their dedication and sense of sacrifice, Syed Ali Gilani said that people are determined and won’t succumb to pressure tactics and will pursue their mission till the right of self-determination is achieved.
